Terms of Service
1. The service
Metriform is a fitness and nutrition app for iOS. It generates personalized training programs, meal plans and daily targets, and adapts them to what you log. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
AI features require a separate choice to allow the data processing described in the Privacy Policy. You can decline or withdraw that choice in Settings and continue manual tracking within your plan's available features. AI outputs and translations are estimates and may contain errors; check them before relying on them.
2. Not medical advice
All plans, targets, estimates and suggestions in the app are informational estimates — not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult a professional before starting a training or nutrition program, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or are returning from injury. You use the app at your own risk and remain responsible for your own health decisions.
3. Subscriptions
- Parts of the app require a paid subscription (monthly plans), purchased through Apple's App Store as an auto-renewing subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- A free trial, where offered, converts into a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Trials are available once.
- There are two plans, Plus and Pro. They differ in features and in allowances: on Plus, plan generations are limited per month (new plans and rebuilds, counted separately for training and for meals) and meal photo analyses per day; the current numbers are shown in the app before purchase. Pro adds features listed there and has no monthly plan limit or daily photo cap, subject to section 5.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
- If your subscription lapses, your data stays; the app degrades to a read-only mode until you resubscribe.
4. Your account and data
- You are responsible for keeping access to your account.
- Your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
- You may delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete account); this removes your data from our servers.
5. Fair use
Features that run on our servers (plan generation, meal analysis, the assistant) have usage limits to keep the service sustainable: the plan allowances described in section 3, and daily fair-use limits on every plan, including Pro. A failed analysis or generation does not count against an allowance. Automated, abusive or reverse-engineering use of the service or its APIs is prohibited.
6. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes move the effective date above. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the new terms.
